What the status values mean
- Pending — Ordr received the Meta callback and queued deletion of associated personal data. Check again later; large workspaces can take longer.
- Completed — Ordr finished processing the request for that confirmation code. A completion timestamp appears when available.
- Not found / error — The code is mistyped, expired, or was never issued for this app. Re-copy from Meta or start a new request from Facebook / Instagram settings.
Who should use this page
End users who connected Ordr through Meta and requested deletion from Facebook or Instagram account settings. Tenant admins who want to wipe an entire Ordr workspace should use Settings → Profile → Delete account & data instead of this Meta confirmation flow.
Privacy and security notes
Confirmation codes are single-purpose lookup tokens. Do not post them in public forums. Ordr does not display unrelated account data on this page — only the status and detail fields tied to the code you submit. If you believe a request was completed incorrectly, contact support with the confirmation code and approximate request date so we can investigate against our deletion logs.
How this relates to Meta's deletion flow
When you remove Ordr (or a related Meta app permission) from Facebook or Instagram, Meta may call Ordr's data-deletion callback and return a confirmation code. This status page is the Ordr-side tracker for that code. Meta's own UI can still show a separate progress state; both must finish for the request to be fully closed across systems. Keep the code until Ordr shows completed, then retain a copy with your records if you need proof of the request later.
WhatsApp and Messenger deletions that route through the same Ordr Meta app use the same confirmation-code pattern. If you only disconnected a Page or Instagram professional account without triggering Meta's user-data deletion, this checker will not invent a code — start from Meta's settings or follow the steps on the data deletion request page.
Troubleshooting common lookup problems
- Code not found — Remove spaces, confirm you copied the full token from Meta, and wait a few minutes after starting the request before the first lookup. Codes from other Meta apps will not resolve here.
- Stuck on pending — Large tenants with many conversations or media objects can remain pending longer. Recheck later the same day; if pending exceeds 48 hours, contact support with the code and the approximate request time.
- Completed but Meta still shows data — Ordr can only delete data it stores. Facebook or Instagram may keep separate copies under Meta's own retention policies. Use Meta's account download / deletion tools for platform-native copies.
Frequently asked questions
What is an Ordr Meta data deletion confirmation code?
When you request deletion through Facebook or Instagram settings for the Ordr Meta app, Meta may call Ordr’s data-deletion callback and return a confirmation code. That code is the lookup token for this status page.
Why does Ordr still show pending after I deleted the app on Meta?
Pending means Ordr queued the callback and is still processing associated personal data. Large workspaces with many conversations or media can take longer. Recheck later the same day; contact support with the code if pending exceeds 48 hours.
Does completed status delete my Facebook or Instagram account?
No. Completed means Ordr finished deleting data it stores for that confirmation code. Meta may still retain platform-native copies under its own policies—use Meta’s account tools for those.
Can tenant admins use this page to wipe a whole Ordr workspace?
No. Workspace wipe belongs in Settings → Profile → Delete account & data. This page only tracks Meta user-data deletion confirmation codes for the Ordr app.
